[UPDATE] Adjustments to 2025 Annual Org Proposals

During recent discussions with some ecosystem stakeholders, several Org Leads have made the case for creating better alignment by combining their 2025 Annual Org Proposals into a single Radworks Governance Proposal (RGP), with objectives and budgets representing multiple Orgs. This approach would also lower facilitation cost and voting burden for community members.

In this case, each Org would have a specified budget within the aggregated proposal. If executed, the RGP would disburse defined amounts to each Org’s specified wallet/s.

To allow time for dialogue around this adjustment, we will extend review & submission of annual proposals into the December cycle. We will also shorten the review periods for the December cycle since substantial discussion will take place before the proposals go live (on Dec 2), and to avoid having voting periods during the holidays.

@lftherios and @cloudhead will speak to Org Leads @Kuehle @yorgos in the week of November 4 as part of coordinating a unified 2025 Annual Org Proposal.

The adjusted timeline for proposals will now be:

  • Monday, Dec 2: Request for Comment posted on Discourse
  • Thursday, Dec 5: Proposal Review Session at 5pm CET
  • Tuesday, Dec 10: Formal Review posted on Discourse
  • Tuesday, Dec 10 - Monday, Dec 16: Formal Review vote on Snapshot
  • Tuesday, Dec 17: Submission of on-chain proposal
  • Tuesday, Dec 17 - Thurs/Fri Dec 19/20: On-chain vote
  • Thurs/Fri Dec 19/20: Queue Timelock
  • Monday Dec 23: Execute proposal

If you have comments or concerns on either of the above adjustments, please let us know in comments or reach out to me. All other monthly proposal cycle timelines are unchanged.
