The amount of RAD requested has been updated from 179609 to 193381 to reflect the RAD / USD price for the last 30 days based on Radworks USD Historical Data | CoinGecko.
I came back here to check these figures because, as I was preparing to vote, I noticed the on-chain proposal says this amount of RAD currently corresponds to only ~330K USD, which is only about 70% of the original budget.
It turns out this is just the $RAD volatility, something which has also affected our own budget, but it affects this proposal much more (because 100% of the budget was paid out in RAD).
Not here to offer a solution, just to highlight the fact. I’ll think about potential ways we could address this problem myself. Other ideas are also very welcome!
Hey @yorgos - as @lftherios mentions in the original post, the RAD amount is based on an average for the last 30 days. This is meant to help account for volitility (in both directions) to get as close to the requested amount as possible.
RGP-25 is now live for on-chain voting. To vote, head to the proposal on Tally. Voting ends at approximately 09:39pm CET on Friday, April 26th.
This proposal has PASSED:ballot_box_with_check: with 4.3M $RAD in support of the proposal. It will be queued and executed in the coming days.
