Radicle Org - Q1 2025 Update

Radicle Org - Q1 2025 Update

General Announcements & Updates

  • @cloudhead will be stepping down as Org Lead from Radicle over the next few months. As a result, development on the Radicle protocol will move under the wing of the Foundation org and will report directly to the Foundation council.

We are aiming for this transition to have taken place by 30 June 2025.

An update with further details will be published in due course.

  • After a hiatus, heartwood has merged 57 commits since the v1.1.0 release, on the 5th of December.

  • We will prepare a v1.2.0 release candidate at the start of May, and experiment with a 4-week cadence of releasing binaries.

  • To be included are canonical references and improvements to initialising and cloning repositories larger than 1GB.

  • We are within budget

Quarterly Objectives Updates
