Overview

Please provide the following:

  • If the name of your project is not descriptive, a tag line (one sentence summary).
  • A brief description of your project.
A marketplace for people to swap NFTs. This could save tax.
  • An indication of how your project relates to / integrates into Radicle.
If this project is successful, I would like to collaborate on Radicle to find more people to work on it.
  • An indication of why your team is interested in creating this project.
People with many NFTs donā€™t want to sell them sometimes either because itā€™s hard to price the NFT or they donā€™t want to taxed and then buy another NFT. But they are willing to swap with others. So I am building a platform where people can swap NFTs.

Here you can also add any additional information that you think is relevant to this application but isnā€™t part of it already, such as:

A few initial points of feedback.
I currently would not vote on this due to the concerns raised in points 1/2 below.

Please address these as soon as possible. We will need a response within 2 weeks from now or this application will be archived.

  1. Please give this grant a more meaningful title. It currently has the placeholder title.

  2. Please add more details on how this is work will contribute to free and open-source software (FOSS) or Radicle. It remains unclear how this is adding value to the broader ecosystem of open FOSS or Radicle.

For example, this statement:

  • An indication of how your project relates to / integrates into Radicle.
If this project is successful, I would like to collaborate on Radicle to find more people to work on it.

This segment would be much better if it explained how the project adds to the broader FOSS ecosystem. Simply getting more people to contribute does not add value to FOSS or Radicleā€™s ecosystem. What would these people work on? What will their extra work bring to the table?

For example, how might swapping NFTs in a tax-free or lower tax manner benefit an ecosystem of NFTs for subscriptions (reference Radicleā€™s new Drips Network here).

  1. The PR below is really cool. Do you have a strong interest in governance tooling?
