Are there any plans to allow people to contribute to projects using fiat? I generally use Github for RStudio packages/shiny apps, and the audience is a non-crypto community. I’d love to be able to get contributions but crypto-exclusive contributions would be a complete non-starter for my crowd.

You could probably relatively easily add a crypto to fiat bridge. In principle some entity like radicle foundation or another party could add this - but what is probably easiest is just additionally adding one of the many existing fiat contribution options. After all, if you pay with CC or other fiat means any way, you need some centralized entity anyway that processes transactions. Or what would be the benefit for you of not using those services?

I don’t see why not! Either a fiat integration or an integration with a fiat on/off-ramp could support here. I think it would take a couple extra steps to figure out how it would work, but I don’t think it’s impossible
