- Vitalik Buterin’s New Public Goods Funding Mechanism on Drips: Vitalik’s latest public goods funding mechanism will be distributed via Drips. See Deep Funding for more details.
- Drips AI Launch: Drips AI—our AI-assisted workflows for both funders and recipients—will go live in Q1 2025.
- Drips on Filecoin: We have deployed Drips on Filecoin. Filecoin will distribute $1.6 million via Drips in January 2025 (originally planned for December 2024) as part of its FIL-RetroPGF Round 2.
- Devcon SEA Presentation: We presented Drips at Devcon SEA in November.
- Q4 Product Updates: In Q4 2024, we shipped several product updates, including gasless claiming for Filecoin, embeddable support buttons, and more.
- Ethereum Foundation Partnership: We finalized our partnership with the Ethereum Foundation! The Devcon team will fund its critical dependencies via Drips in Q1 2025, with an official announcement coming later this month.
Quarterly Objectives Update
- Active Organizations: We ended the year with six organizations actively using Drips. An additional four organisations have committed to going live in Q1 2025.
- Total Dripping Funds: We closed 2024 with $1.9 million actively dripping via Drips. Another $1.6 million is committed to begin dripping in January 2025 (originally planned for Q4 2025).
- FOSS projects using Drips: There are now more than 340 FOSS projects using Drips!

We were on budget. In fact our estimates show that we were roughly $50k below budget.
