Project Overview
The project is a proposal in response to RFP 2689 Radicle Discovery + Analytics, with the goal of creating a discovery + analytics service for Radicle that could provide quality metrics and insights into the Radicle ecosystem.
The team behind this proposal has been instrumental in creating novel solutions in the existing web 3 space and has received grants and support from reputed foundations like Web3 Foundation and Polkadot Treasury. We think that our previous work puts us in the best position to solve this challenge in the required timeline.
Overview
- Discovery Analytics for Labor Supply & Demand
- This project is in response to RFP 2689, which is to provide quality metrics and insights about the labor supply and demand for any organization to discover the best contributors into the workstream and to help them find work. This also helps contributors to find the organizations with the most demanded, valued and active RFPs.
- We have built a bunch of marketplaces in web2 and web3 space. Our understanding of the requirement and domain will be at par with Radicle’s requirement.

Team’s experience
Radicle Discovery + Analytics platform will be built at Wow Labz. Wow Labz is one of India’s leading turnkey product development firms. The team has previously built a decentralized storage protocol called Lake Network - Link shared in comments in addition to multiple dApps on Ethereum, Stellar, EOS, and Hyperledger.
A list of centralized apps published(link) can be found in the comments which includes products involving analytics dashboards for Fortune 500 companies.
In addition to this the team has also won grants from Web3 Foundation and Polkadot for building a decentralized marketplace linked in comments.
Nearly 80% of the 100+ (centralized) products built by us have an Admin Portal with a dashboard, aggregate analytics and activity details for the Admins to get a bird’s eye view of the activities in the overall system. We have also built a few analytics products that provide drill down features on aggregate analytics.

Project Description
The project aims to create a Discovery + Analytics product for the Radicle Ecosystem. There are a lot of activities happening on the Radicle network and a service that can index all this data and provide quality metrics and insight into the ecosystem.
We propose building customized views for Contributors and Organizations to assess what they value the most and a detailed Pando* (Admin) view, which gives a holistic overview of the entire Radicle ecosystem.
Organization View:
- Total, top projects
- Total, top RFPs
- Number of drips
- Total, top contributors
- Top languages
- besides the ability to list, view and filter all relevant data
Contributor View:
- Top organizational work
- Drip activity
2.1 Incoming
2.2 Outgoing - Top language
- Contribution activity timeline
- besides the ability to list, view and filter all relevant data.
Pando Admin View:
- All Organizations
1.1. By Value (Cumulative)
1.1.1. Incoming
1.1.2. Outgoing
1.2. By Activity
1.2.1. Incoming
1.2.2. Outgoing
1.3. By Funding
1.4. and more - All Drip activities by Week/Month/Quarter/Year (via subgraph of Workstreams)
- All Contributors
- All RFPs
- besides the ability to filter and drill down on all relevant data
These and other derivable metrics would be created in consultation with the Radicle point of contact. The team will research the data and create a UI that would help determine the functionality to be shipped for each milestone.
Pando name is derived from Pando Quaking aspen (Link in comments)

Open to Discussion | Note - Contributor and Organization’s RFP tagging based on the type of work can help provide a metric for the recommendation of contributors to similar RFPs. |
Milestone 4 - Recommendation Systems
- Estimated Duration: 1 month
- FTE: 1
- Costs: 12,000 USDC
Number | Deliverable | Specification |
---|---|---|
1 | Backend Code | Queries that help with recommending or finding similar Orgs; goal is making finding interesting Orgs to contribute to easier |
Open to Discussion | Note - We will need to review data and feel confident of coming up with suitable queries. |
Future Plans
We feel Rating, Tagging and Notification modules would make a significant difference in the system.
- The Rating module would aid with qualitative feedback that would encourage positive behaviour within the ecosystem.
- Tagging would help with better search and discovery.
- Timely notifications that take the user to the Dashboard would also help drive engagement and retention
Additionally, it might be useful to build an AI-based recommendation engine that uses statistical models to Contributors find work and Organizations find talent in ways that could not be achieved with a rule-based recommendation. This will be feasible only when we have sufficient historical activity data within the system to train the models.
